How XExchange Crypto Exchange Works

XExchange is built around a direct crypto-to-crypto order rather than a conventional trading account. You choose the asset you send, the asset you want to receive, review the live route conditions and receive the payout to the destination wallet entered for that order.

The exact networks, minimums, quote and transaction conditions can differ by pair, so the live exchange form remains the source of truth.

1. Choose the Assets and Networks

Start by selecting the cryptocurrency you already hold and the asset you want to receive.

When an asset can exist on more than one blockchain, also confirm the source or destination network shown in the form. This is especially important for tokens such as USDT, where the same ticker can represent balances on different networks.

The selected route should match both:

  • the network used by the sending wallet;
  • the network supported by the receiving wallet or platform.

2. Enter the Destination Wallet

Provide the wallet address where the exchanged asset should be sent.

Copy the destination directly from the receiving wallet or exchange rather than retyping it. If the destination requires an additional field such as a tag or memo, enter it exactly as instructed.

XRP is a common example where a receiving platform can require a Destination Tag. The requirement depends on the destination, so the active order and receiving service should be checked instead of assuming that every XRP address works the same way.

3. Review the Current Quote

Before sending funds, review the transaction-specific order details.

The active order can include:

  • source and destination assets;
  • source and destination networks;
  • amount to send;
  • estimated amount to receive;
  • current minimum;
  • quote mode when multiple modes are implemented;
  • deposit details;
  • destination information.

Reference rate charts, converters and preset tables can help with comparison, but they do not replace the executable order quote.

4. Send the Deposit

Send only the asset and network selected in the current order.

Do not reuse a deposit address from an older transaction unless the interface explicitly tells you that it remains valid. An address that looks compatible can still belong to the wrong network or route.

After broadcasting the source transaction, keep the blockchain transaction hash and XExchange order reference.

5. Wait for Blockchain Confirmations

The source transaction must be recognized according to the requirements of the selected route.

Confirmation behavior depends on the blockchain. XExchange should therefore use the live order status instead of presenting one universal confirmation count for every asset.

Blockchain confirmation time is separate from exchange processing time.

6. Exchange Processing

After the source transaction reaches the required state, the order moves through the exchange process.

The exact receive amount depends on the quote and route conditions associated with the order. If a fixed-rate mode is implemented, its lock conditions should be shown before deposit. If a floating-rate mode applies, the receive amount can reflect the market when the exchange is executed.

XExchange should not describe a reference market rate as if it were an executable guaranteed quote.

7. Receive the Payout

The exchanged asset is sent to the destination wallet entered for the order.

XExchange is designed around direct wallet payout rather than requiring the user to maintain an ongoing trading balance inside a conventional exchange account.

Check the destination blockchain when the payout transaction is available.

Track the Order

Keep the order ID and source transaction hash until the exchange is complete.

These identifiers are the useful references if an order needs review. A support request may also need information such as:

  • source asset and network;
  • destination asset and network;
  • amount sent;
  • source transaction hash;
  • destination address;
  • order status shown by the service.

A wallet seed phrase or private key is never required to identify an exchange transaction.

No Account Registration vs Transaction Review

The standard XExchange flow is designed without a persistent trading account.

That does not mean every transaction is automatically exempt from compliance review. Account registration and transaction-specific review are different concepts.

An order can be transaction-based while still being subject to additional review when required by the service’s compliance or security controls.

For the current policy, see XExchange AML Policy.

If the Amount or Network Is Wrong

Do not automatically create a second payment if a transaction was already sent incorrectly.

If the amount differs from the active order, the source network is wrong, a destination field is missing or the order status does not update as expected, use the order ID and blockchain transaction hash when contacting support.

Recovery depends on the actual blockchain transaction and infrastructure involved and cannot be assumed.

FAQ

Do I need to create an XExchange account?

The standard crypto-to-crypto flow does not require a persistent trading account. Transaction-specific review may still apply when required.

When should I send the deposit?

Send funds only after the active order shows the correct asset, network, amount, destination details and current transaction conditions.

What happens if the rate changes?

That depends on the quote mode used by the order. The live form should identify the applicable conditions before funds are sent.

How many blockchain confirmations are required?

Confirmation requirements can differ by asset, network and route. Use the active order status rather than a single static confirmation count.

What if I send a different amount?

Do not assume the order will automatically adjust. If funds have already been sent, use the order ID and transaction hash when contacting support.

What if I choose the wrong network?

Do not send another transaction automatically. Contact support with the order details. Recovery depends on the specific transaction and network.

What information does support need?

The order ID and blockchain transaction hash are the main identifiers. Depending on the case, the source/destination assets, networks and destination address can also be relevant. Never provide a seed phrase or private key.
